The kids dad, aka, the locomotive, aka, Jimbo, is a force of nature, a natural phenomenon that cannot be controlled. He is the brightest of comets, until he crashes and burns, but he even does that in such a disastrous way it leaves you speechless, then rises like the mythical Phoenix. Jimbo has run in the Boston marathon, been a national champion in model airplanes, set records in ham radio, taught Microsoft a couple of tricks, bent the rules with legal ramifications, drank until his liver said, stop, and now hes on top again. He and his four man team competed in the No Country For Old Men, Coen Brothers, 1000 mile race and received FIRST PLACE! This is a bike race in West Texas that takes about 3 1/2 to 4 days, and months of training on a daily basis. 62 years old and this is what he does for fun! Every time I look at my kids, their determination, their set backs, their obsessive interest in things, I thank this man, because I know they are survivors, that they understand no matter what, you keep moving forward. Every negative crash and burn, is a chance for a positive reinvention! We are proud of you!!
