The last paragraph in my journal that I felt like sharing with you all. Today though we still have a difficult time imagining a wonderful future for the world when we as humans have done so much to help destroy it. We have used toxic and hazardous material on ourselves which has caused environmental issues. We have spread around diseases which have killed millions of people. We have wreaked wars upon ourselves which has resulted in the deaths of billions of people but also destroyed thousands of acres of land and natural landscapes. We have destroyed habitats of endangered creatures and even killed off certain species that we will never see again. Our race of humans has done so much to harm this planet in our human existence that is almost too horrible to contemplate. From pollution in the sky to the junk and garbage we throw into the oceans we have made this planet a mess. A bleak vision of the future is not at all a farfetched depiction and in my opinion if we don’t change the way we live and govern over ourselves not only will we see more wars and revolutions but also the destruction of the human race in the process.
