The last two days of Levels Testing at CrossFit Long Beach have brought on more personal records as I’ve continued to push myself to my physical and mental limits… On Tuesday I got a new strict shoulder press PR at 145lbs, then today I got a new PR on my back squat at 275lbs—a 25lb increase from the last time I went for a one rep max. After lifting this evening I did one of the WODs I love to hate the most—Helen. (Three rounds of 400m run, 21 kettle bell swings at 55lbs, and 12 pull ups.) The last time I did Helen my time was 10:50, and tonight I finished in 9:18. I’m super excited about the progress I’ve been making, and I’m stoked to finish out the next two days of Levels Testing! I need two more milestones in order to make it to the next level! LET’S DO THIS!
