The latest statistics circulating the web. My perspective on this subject. My experience has been, That Atheists insult Christians, referring to them as fools, idiots, and sheeple. They have placed Religious people in a box and presume to know what they believe because they are incapable of recognizing, that perception is the only separation between themselves and those around them. Perception is not a truth or lie, it is an experience and sense. Not unlike your other senses of sight, smell, sound, touch, intuition or instinct. But intellectuals can become a bit snobbish. Even if they are ethical in regards to honesty and integrity. Their truth, is exactly that. Their truth Assuming no other truth or experience is relevant. They assume, If I cant see or feel what you see or feel, then it doesnt exist. As far as discrimination goes, it is nothing new. Even the Atheists who complain are guilty of discrimination too. It is a matter of comfort and trust. When some one does not respect or honor who you are even if they dont understand, It is hard to trust them to represent you fairly. It goes both ways. Do you think Atheists would knowingly vote for a Christian to represent them? Of course I could be wrong. How could I presume to know or understand what someone else thinks or feels with out relating to them on a personal level. Who amongst Atheists and Christians alike, are truly learning the art of non judgement? Only when total acceptance of our unique differences and experience can be embraced will mankind learn to live in harmony with out feeling the need to impose or criticize each others beliefs. It is our actions that define our exchange. Criminal actions can not mask the immoral conduct of a person no matter what kind of spin they put on it. Virtue and moral conduct does not belong to any one religion but is the compass for all of mankind, regardless of our denomination. Respectfully and considerately I appeal to all, we must endeavor to elevate our conscious thinking to humble and loving acceptance of each other. There is no home for the arrogant man who holds himself above others. It is a lonely existence to separate ego from spirit. The ego exalts itself above or below others creating a separation. But the spirit of man is singular, making music in the heavens of the mind body soul connection. Humanity, we are one elevating consciousness as we go.
