The life we live is a life full of choices, which means we are free moral agents and we can choose to yield either to God or satan. Remember, Joseph was a free moral agent. He had the right to sacrifice his future for the present by conceding to Potiphars wifes request. In Genesis 39:77, Joseph refused because he knew life was too short to waste time on things that have no lasting significance. Joseph knew that the dream of his future to become prime minister in Egypt would have been deferred or aborted. He would have disappointed not only God and his family but also the nation of Israel and generations yet unborn. What kind of choices do you make? When we make wrong choices, we feel the impact. Many give up and divorce; many run away and become bitter; many quit on life. Turn your scars into stars. Dont let your bad experiences wipe you out. Satan uses our situation to mislead us. Today, the Holy Spirit knows the level your tempter can go. He knows the questions on the test and will provide every accurate answer. So, relax in times of testing, God will not leave you without a way out. One day at a time and at times, one hour at a time we receive the courage, strength and conviction to hold our ground because when you give your life to Jesus Christ, you become connected to the One who made you and when you are connected to the One who made you, even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil.
