The love song of an outsider! And when I grow old And I see the shadow of my thoughts beheaded Wriggling on the opposite wall And when I see my delicate balance nailed all bleeding on a cross Shall I say I am J.Alfred Prufrock At a loss to eat or not to eat a peach? Shall I say I’m Lazarus Coming from the dead? When all I saw in that bleak land is a blank picture! When I neither can make the sun stop Nor make it run faster Shall I invite my Higher Power To a pizza, cappuccino, a hype! In a clean well lighted place? And kindly offer him to drag a smoke or two Of horse, pot, ice, crack And when he begged me for more Smile a smile of victory and Tell Him Now we are even Shall I translate my chaotic mind Into the language of love? Shall I ask Him to spare a minute or two To have an evening walk When the scent of the women Fills your lungs And read in His face: Oh God is this the scent of a woman’s dress Which makes Me so digress? I’m no J.Alfred Prufrock nor meant to be am a fool an easy toy in the hands of the nasty the people And in short I am bewildered …easy now outsider let yr mind breathe a lil bit man!
