The mad science lab that is Wet N Reckless Brewing unleashes its newest creation this week. From Daves weekly email: Its Stout! Its Merlot! Its Stout! No, Its Merlot! Well, Its both. Im calling it (at least until I come up with something better) Merlout! Yes, beer fans, its got the hearty Down and Out Stout backbone, but fermented also with some merlot grapes in such a way that you taste them both. They may have a fight in your mouth (and my money would be on the stout, obviously), but in the end, they will make peace and just attach your taste buds with lots and lots of flavour. The ABV ended up above 10% so it will be coming in a smaller pour, but it will be available in the fancy glass if you dont have your own so you can pretend like youre having a nice glass of wine. Wine afficianados may have a conniption over this (yes, I had to look up how to spell conniption having never had to write it before), but let them. I have no use for snobs. Also our Raspberry Belgian style beer Precious Endeavour will be back on tap this week.
