The mantra of society: If it feels good, looks good, sounds good, DO IT! Right? Just because it FEELS GOOD, LOOKS GOOD and/or SOUNDS GOOD, should we always tag along with it? Should we have second thoughts and discern what seems good or should we allow to be on auto-pilot to the societal law? 1 Corinthians 6:12 states Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). The past few months, I have experienced a portion of that, which allows me to reflect with these questions: How am I supposed to be like HIM if I dont get rid of SELF? How am I (or how are WE) supposed to be the Light of the World if I dont seek Him (Matthew 5:14)? How am I (or how are we) supposed to show the love of Christ living within if I dont keep a solid relationship with Him? Yes there will be troubling times, but I signed up to be victorious just as He is when He died on the cross. Am I saying should there be no fun? Im not implying that, but all Im depicting is: KNOW YOUR WORTH; KNOW YOUR PURPOSE; KNOW WHY YOU WERE CREATED AND LEARN TO LIVE A WONDERFUL LIFE THAT WAS BOUGHT WITH A PRICE! CHERISH YOUR SALVATION! BE FRUITFUL. IF YOU DONT KNOW HIM, START WITH A HONEST, SHORT PRAYER. Talk to Him. Have a little talk with the Lord today.
