The mind that is attached to the temporal world has nothing better to do than seek satisfaction and identity in things that have no eternal value. Sports and entertainment among other things are the pinnacle of pleasure for many down here and year after year the same repetitive cycle eases its way into the consciousness of world citizens. For those who are born from up above, the greater the realization that they are no longer a part of this world becomes, the less and less significance this world has. Eternal things such as: peace, love and kindness are what the Spiritual mind is satisfied with and these things have their culmination in the person of Christ. While an individual may dabble about in the affairs of this life and go through the motions of this planetary existence, he or she is not entangled thereby and the immense expectation of being in that City whose builder and maker is God, becomes the only solace. - Ivan Soto
