The most amazing thing happened to me yesterday and I finally got to post about it. I went to Fred Meyer to get our holiday meal supplies and our food for this week. We do our menu planning on Sunday and I always shop Monday morning. I knew it was going to be insane and it was. I was in the store for over an hour with not near as many groceries as some people I saw. I got up to the register to pay and was shocked when the clerk told me that a generous lady had left money to cover the groceries of the people behind her until the money was gone. I was beyond amazed and in fact speechless. What an amazing gesture. We live in a world that can be very harsh and I personally have never had a complete stranger give me something. It for sure made my day a lot brighter yesterday. So thank you lovely woman at Fred Meyer!
