The nation of Kurdistan was born this week. It took control of the Oil Hub in the north of Iraq and has shot three kinds of shit out of ISIS in the process. Their territorial capital sits on millions of dollars of more oil. Th Kurds are the largest minority to have no homeland -- about 40 million people give or take. They are called an Iranian people, but they are in fact much older than that branch of Persian Arabs. Kurds were the guardians of the temples of the Magi, and protected pilgrims for centuries beyond counting to the holy places of the ancient world. Today theyre safer and stronger than ever before, thanks to all the arms and great kit left behind by the Highly Trained Iraqi national army. POTUS and Secretary of State Stumble Bum have inadvertently, and totally unintentionally, righted a very ancient wrong. Like I said when Pope Francis was elected : Excellent News! Hope he (and the Kurds) survive the month....
