The new Hinkley Point nuclear reactor will bring much-needed investment into the UKs #nuclear sector. It will provide crucial skills training for UK companies and will also strengthen co-operation with the Chinese, who are key investors in the UKs infrastructure. We should seize this opportunity to get the UK ahead in the #globalrace. While other countries stick to inefficient green energy, the UK will guarantee its #energysecurity for years with this reactor. Unfortunately, 13 years of Labour governments did not invest anything in UK nuclear power construction so we now need to build up our skills base as quickly as possible.
