The new bird hides on our Doxey Marshes nature reserve in Stafford are now open! Theyre not entirely finished, and will need a lick of paint, but visitors are now welcome to try them out and start enjoying the wildlife on this fantastic wetland reserve! Work to replace the metal hide overlooking Tillington Flash was made possible thanks to funds from The Veolia Environmental Trust, and the brand-new octahide on the scrape was built using Biffa Award funding. Thanks too to Stafford Borough Council and our Stafford Local Group for their kind donations towards the work. Work to finish the hides, and the rest of the improvements on site, are expected to be finished by the New Year.
