The new scheduling for VCD is SO unbelievably unfair. I hated controlled registration, but the ONLY good thing was that it went by your rank in the VCD program, NOT your rank in credits. This makes it so most of the classes are already filled up by the time I can even register, by people who simply have more credits than I, and thats most likely because they changed their major so already had more credits, because Im on track of where I should be in the program/credit-wise. So now theres a bunch of nice 7:45AM classes that would require me getting up at around 6AM that I just REFUSE to do again because it literally ruined my semester last time, and there are like 1-2 spaces in the later ones that everybody is going to try and be getting at 12:01 tonight, just because people with more credits, who have been around Kent longer, NOT upperclassmen in the VCD program, there should be NO reason they deserve to get the times they want as opposed to the regular VCD juniors who are on track. Gonna be really mad if I get screwed with a terrible schedule, pay too much to be treated unfairly and the quality of my work will suffer greatly as Ill be sleep-deprived and can NOT possibly focus on work/class at the ungodly hour of 7:45AM. Especially since it would be that early on those days, and then super late the other days of the week so there isnt even HOPE of a consistent schedule to get into. Well just see how this goes.
