The old assault vehicle. I bought this boat totaled. I had a punch in the side and it also had a huge BANG type logo down the side tha went from maroon to gold,......soooo ugly. This was a test boat made by whaler when they were experimenting with jet engines in personal tender size boats. It used a waverunner 3 power plant so when I bought it, the thing had handlebars!! We repaired the hull, stripped allll the clear coat and got that ugly graphic off the side, repainted and rebadged. I added a teak dashboard with 3 guages, temp, fuel and battery. Having a jet with no temp guage is suicide, suck up one bread bag or something and the motor is done (if u dont see it heating up) I also replaced the handlebars with a standard 5 spoke (teal center cap) and changed the throttle over to a trigger throttle on the wheel. Trick. This allows you to drive the boat with both hands on the wheel,...critical for a boat as maneuverable as this one. I ended up replacing the entire motor (with electronics) for cheap with a leftover motor from yamaha I cant begin to tell you the attention this boat got. People have never seen a Boston Whaler, center console, jet,...in a 15 foot package. Put it this way, when I sold her, I MADE money,.......how many friends do you know who can say THAT about a boat? :-)
