The other day, someone said that I sounded angry on T.V. when discussing the subject of black people being exterminated by the police. First, I dont subscribe to Obamafied projections concerning acceptable displays of black emotion as determined by white anxieties. As a human being, and not a political figurehead, I give myself permission to experience the full range of human emotion. Try it. Second, if that subject doesnt anger you, then check your pulse. Third, considering the circumstances and history of our existence in this country compared to the love that still emmanates from our souls, the critique is directed toward the wrong side. That is, unless you think these officers are calm as theyre killing us. #nojusticenopeace
