The other night I was praying for an AllegedAbuserX; a wonderful man in all areas of his life, accept for this area. It was 1:30 am, and I was in tears for about an hour praying for this man. There is a reason why its called ClientX, or AbuserX, or ThivorX - to protect everyone and create the space for healing to happen. If this was about exposing anyone - then Id name names. Ive had 2 people - at a ChurchX - who I do not know, came up to me, former military and made some suggestions regarding how to handle an AbuserX; I helped them understand that though I appreciated their military perspectives (laugh) that AbuserXs were once ClientXs - probalby still are. They had not considered compassion for the AbuserXs of the world out there; they had not considered how this DV Virus infects business, political and spiritual leadership - which affects our world. I know of one AbuserX - (alleged) - who I believe in still to this day - I have not given up on them. Ive seen the love in their heart, and Ive had a glimpse of the pain that is hiding behind their anger and rage. Men are like that - you see and feel their anger - and rage - but that is a shield hiding - deep shame, - deep regret, - deep unworthiness. There often is a little boy trapped in that helpless powerless experience from earlier in their lives. Ive been on mens teams - and Ive helped men get past that anger - safely - usually requires a team of men to help get physical in a safe way. On the otherside of that anger, and that pain - is where miracles can happen - love, real love exists - within everyone of us. So - to the Alleged AbuserXs out there and their friends monitoring this page - the invitation is always open to privately, and honorably work through even the most horrific things. Trust isnt easy - especially when you have so much to hide. Over the last 14 years Ive often blogged about something: If you are a criminal right now, you can choose NOT to be a criminal in the next moment. You can replace the word criminal with any title youd like, or any label. Most likey you cant make that level of shift alone. The 12 Step programs - or varients are very effective (my opinion). Anyone can choose to get help, own what belongs to them, and trending towards healing themselves and others. Obsession with power, money, control - look around your lives. Life doesnt have to be that way. SavingClientX - is here to help. My vision for AbuserXs are to inspire transformation - to create a template for the reclaiming of dignity, and transforming these men and women of Power - to shift from the abuse of money and power, into Stewardship and Leadership use of their money and power. Whos going to step up to the plate and demonstrate real power and control? Whos going to be #1 Whos got that level of strength and vision out there? Nothing more powerful - than an AbuserX - transformed into a PeacefulWarriorX - help me develop the model for this transformation. This message is for someone special - we can do this.
