In fact, nearly half of all terminally ill cancer patients die in hospital. Its rarely an ideal setting for either the patients or their families - and its costly for taxpayers. On Monday, Global News takes you inside the West-Island Palliative Care Residence, the largest independent hospice of its kind in Canada, where patients are finding peace in their final moments.
