The picture you see before you is my MTSU BSU director Charles Nored and his lovely wife. I think you can get a slight glimpse into one of the MAIN reasons my MTSU experience was so GREAT. When my soul wasnt feeling quite right in early 1991 (I had come from a large and active youth program) I returned to a guy (and the place) where upon my first visit to MTSU (a tour of campus) in the summer of 1990, a man had cracked open the BSUs soft drink machine and gave me a free coke. That man was Charles Nored. At the BSU I found most of my deepest relationships, a career (Mike Nevills keeping me from literally walking out on broadcast journalism because I was scared), three groomsmen and most importantly a renewed focus on Christ. This man helped change the course of my life because of a free coke. Thank you Chuck for simply being kind, fun and available. It changed my life.
