The post has published on page 4 a PVT of the remaining 39 constituencies (with a few polling stations remaining). The math as per their tabulations indicate that PF has won by 32,001 votes. However after a close analysis and comparisons with other PVT, it has come to my attention that the results are far from authentic and that they are misrepresenting the truth. This has been caused by transposition of figures, and Over/Under statements of results in either parties. Examples include; 1) As per The Post, in Lukulu West PF has polled 7,163, UPND has 876 while other PVT indicates the opposite as PF having the 876 while UPND has 7,163 2) As per The Post, in Solwezi East, PF has polled 597 against UPNDs 2584. Sources from other PVT indicate otherwise as having UPND with 8,333 and PF with 900 votes. With this analysis and or observation, I have a few questions running through my head, 1. Are these results meant to excite a particular political party so they may begin to claim victory and yet it is the opposite? 2. Are these results meant to psychologically slap supporters of a certain political party with a tone of defeat so that (God forbid) should the figures be altered, those members would have already conceded defeat by the unofficial and unauthenticated results? 3. Why should the Post be publishing unverified results?,whose pressing the buttons? #Thinking_out_Loud
