The purpose of Malcolm X’s book was to get the word out how he - TopicsExpress

The purpose of Malcolm X’s book was to get the word out how he became the person he was and for him to give us a better understand of him ideas. Malcolm’s viewpoint was from the everyday black man or woman trying to make in a very hostile America. I learned that as a child we come in to the world a blank slate. We learn and we are taught to hate we are not born that way. He comes from a perspective of black man and the things that come along with bring a black man in America his time period. Malcolm uses his history and his family’s history to support his perspective. As black man who has lived to be fifty- one years old and I thank God I did not live thru the stuff that my grandmother, mother and Malcolm had to live thru but I was told the stories about that time. So the evidence is very convincing to me. Malcolm X was so successful in the carrying out the purpose of the book that it is still changing lives all over the world. The strengths of the book it show the way to better world and to better life. It show us that it not where you start but where we finish. He show us we can overcomes things that unfair and unjust. Now Malcolm X is universal and belongs to the world. The only weakness of this book is that Malcolm did not live to see the book published. One the greatest things that learned from the book is never give up and you can make it against all the odds. Malcolm believed in lifelong learning so he would fit right in AD 101. I would whole heartily recommend this to others.
