The question was asked about American Indians celebrating the 4th of July. Talee Redcorn responded: "I guess it depends on what tribe you belong to. The Osages were allies with the United States since 1806, and even fought with them during the Civil War against the Southern States. The Osage were enemies with Spain and other European Nations, but the US was not one of them. So I guess we celebrate July 4th."
