Imagine the sub-lethal effect on all predators of even small amounts of rodenticide ingested. The truth is that we have no idea how many wildlife deaths attributed to other causes are actually rooted in rat poison: windowkills, roadkills, lethargic hawks, foxes, wild cats, skunks, owls…the list goes on.
