The ramifications of walking the ramp are often a little disturbing. Once you put on that air of a model whose killer gaze can leave people jelly-legged, you tend to misconstrue the normal glance of all and sundry as unrestrained ogling, even after you emerge on a lower ground from the lofty runway above. You just cannot shed that etherealistic elegance for a long time after your haloed public presence. I had this notion of mine confirmed this afternoon when my congratulatory words to a very young ramp artiste met with a dreamy eyed whisper of some kind of a thank you or may be something to that effect. :P
