The reading of the Bible and spiritual literature serves merely as a lamp, a catalyst to awaken the revelation of Christ in you. It is impossible to cook a meal in the heat of a single match; but the match is enough to light the oven! A young man of noble birth Saul, who excels in zeal for the tradition of his religion, is more ambitious and recognised than any of his contemporaries, pursues his mission to wipe out the followers and influence of this Jesus. Suddenly a light brighter than the sun overwhelms him; he is blinded for three days, but he has Christ revealed within him. 2 Cor 4:6 The light source is founded in the same God who said, Light, be! And light shone out of darkness! He lit the lamp in our understanding so that we may clearly recognize the features of his likeness in the face of Jesus Christ reflected within us. (The same God who bade light shine out of darkness has kindled a light in our hearts, whose shining is to make known his glory as he has revealed it in the features of Jesus Christ.
