The recent action instituted by the VC,OAU to bar students from Liberia as well as other West African countries in the recent wake of Ebola virus disease doesnt seem ideal to me.Most people would be in a haste to label me an unpatriotic Nigerian however,I love to see issues from the other standpoint.Though,the action was intended for good,I begin to imagine what would happen to the bulk of Nigerian students studying in Ghana,UK,Russia,Ukraine and the likes. I begin to wonder what the outcome would portend if they were subjected to same treatment being meted out to these students all for a cause they werent responsible for at the expense of their academics. Subjecting them to tests on their return looks like a better option.Anyone found wanting could then be whisked away(forgive my choice of words) to Ebola jail in Lagos.That way,justice,equity and fairness have being brought to play.As usual,#myownthots#
