The recent decision of the Government to privitise the Paksitan International Airlines, will bring some positive as well as negative impacts on socio-ecnomic situation of the Airline. On privitising the Airline, it will surely boost the finacnial aspect but the burden will be on the passengers travelling through the national airline, as there will be an increase in the fare of the airline. The employes of the PIA will face a more worse situation as their service cadre will be changed and they would not be able to take the necessary and extra sevices from the airline anymore. Moreover, it may be a gift for some one special who had paid loyality through providing funds for the rulling party. It should be kept in mind that the present petroleum minister shahid khaqan Abassi, is the most prominent stake holder in the private airline Airblue of Pakistan. This action may led to open another pendora box of corruption in Pakistan like the ricodikk plant pendora box.
