The results of 16th general election have given an unprecedented mandate to BJP and its allies, this mandate is a clear indication of massive public outrage against the outgoing UPA government and its policies. Parties which had supported the UPA even from outside like us had to pay the price of this public anger against Congress and its allies. BSP could not open its account in the seats tally, although this has given us a lot to think about, we should not get disheartened and should instead strive to work harder towards achieving success for our party and its mission. BSP has received 3rd highest number of votes throughout the country, This shows that we have been entrusted to represent these people who have blessed our party and our leader Behen Mayawati ji. Despite a massive wave for the BJP our Party got Two Crore Twenty Nine Lakh Fourty Six Thousand One Hundred and eighty two ( 22946182) votes which is 4.1% of the total votes polled, moreover our party has been able to increase its vote tally in UP by almost 8 lakh since last general elections in 2009, One crore Fifty Nine Lakh Fourteen Thousand And Nineteen (15914019) . This has clearly shown that despite all efforts made by political parties the core voters of the BSP mission are still firmly with the party and its ideologies. We thank them for their support and pledge to fight for justice with more aggression and vigour. We shall not get disheartened by this result instead our resolve to grow has never been stronger. We would once again thank all those who have shown their faith in our party and also our party workers and functionaries who have worked tirelessly for our novel mission they should not lose heart with this result and their hardwork and commitment will not go in vain, the divisive politics and false promises which have helped the BJP to power will in the end become the reason for its downfall.
