The school year is getting close and Ive been thinking about how my life managed to lead me to my new career. I always knew Id wind up being a teacher since I come from a family of teachers, but having great teachers throughout my life and eventually marrying an amazing teacher solidified my decision to take on this respectable career. People like my dad and mom have been the best teachers both academically and morally, while my old teachers like Manny Saenz made learning fun and taught me that relating to your students gains respect and motivated me to make teachers like him proud. Now I have met and learned so much from the best teacher I know, Carla Perez Valdez. I can only hope to be half the teacher they are. Its going to be a trip but its a trip Ive been preparing for my entire life.
