The science team has suggested this evolving sea/land feature could be surface waves, rising bubbles, floating solids, solids suspended just below the surface, or perhaps something more exotic. The appearance had changed during the 11 months since it was last seen and has changed remarkably since 2007 - 2014 s documentation. I thought Cassini was about to do its grand finale by diving into Saturn s atmosphere soon but the scientists mention looking forward to Summer Solstice viewing during 2017... ? If I remember correctly, hot liquid ammonia pours out of volcanos on Saturn and its moons. The newly created global microwave maps of Saturn reveal in unprecedented detail a largely stable atmospheric environment with some unexpected variety, including arid, desert-like patches in Saturns atmosphere, and regions where humid tropical climes dominate.
