The soon to be jewel of the whole corner..the multi level fire and rescue..here you see the beginnings of the lower railside assistance of a mock up version of my HO scale fire engine loco (the actual HO scale loco is in paint shop getting the exact fire engine colors seen here) with a forest fire tanker/hose unit and besides that a 250 ton rescue crane with a 20 ft container for other rescue and fire equipment like tools, haz-mat gear etc.. The upper level will be the normal roadside assistance with a soon to be state of the art design station... notice the Fire Chiefs Dodge Viper quick response vehicle lol.. Still to finish are the tunnel of the two main passenger lines (using the tallest freight unit-container well car-as a guide for clearance height), the bridge over the exclusively single freight line, the actual building of the lower and upper level of the fire/rescue structure.landscaping/painting, perminate track tacked down(currently just temporarly tacked down for illustrational purposes), plus other things..again still progress but moving along very well...I hope you enjoy this fantasy-yet-somewhat-prototypical section of my layout in progress.
