The start date for the next Power 101 Course has been announced, starting in two weeks on Wednesday the 28th of May at 7.30pm! This 6 week course is designed to introduce training methods that will enable you to learn how to safely train and progress power and strength through the use of barbell training exercises, such as the back squat and power clean. These movements will help you develop explosive athletic power, and get you running faster, jumping further and taking impact better. There will also be a focus on upper body work to build towards gaining fast and fluid muscle ups and climb ups. This course is being instructed by our very own Kristian McPhee - Kristian is the British Under 23s Olympic Weightlifting Champion, is on the GB Weightlifting Talent Squad, and is a British Weightlifting Association qualified lifting coach alongside, of course, his parkour experience and ADAPT Qualifications.
