The story of my life right now...? My oldest is now a Mighty Mighty Senior (Lord, please help me through this coming year without OD-ing on Xanax). Yes, all my Dickson friends, thats the baby that you figured out I was preggos with before I did...the baby I went into labor with at One Act Play contest in Ada, and the baby you all carried around afterward at football games... :D... Shes 6 tall, blonde and beautiful now, btw... My youngest is a Mighty Mighty 7th Grader (WHERE did the time go????). I spend my evenings signing homework and re-teaching daily lessons on coursework that I had XX years ago (thank God for my former classroom experience and former instructors - Mrs. Banks, Mr. Fellabaum, Mrs. Willis, and Mrs. Brewster often come to mind - and that we all have a reprieve for a couple of months now), watering and weeding the yard (LOVE that Im able to supplement my familys food with homegrown, organic, minimally processed - hey, Im not a miracle worker - food thats good for them), feeding and watering my precious pups, making dinner for my precious babies and debating over - yes, really - what TV show to watch that we all enjoy, picking up the house so its at least presentable to a DHS worker (who doesnt even have kids), and at least putting the clothes into the washer and then into the dryer (it BOGGLES my mind the sheer volume of laundry that is generated by 3 girls...) - though I HATE TO FOLD CLOTHES.... am working on that....Ive learned that the surest way of getting one of my daughters attention is to sit down on the porch with a glass of wine and a book.... And Im cool with that because I know that one day, they wont want or need it.... Other than that, Im just ancillary....
