The system is so broken!!! A message I received tonight and I wanted to share to show how broken the system is: Okay, officially stuck on what to do. Had my yearly review on my benefits, health care and food share, Ive lost it all! Because I make too much in gross income to get assistance..which is literally $30 over the budget. I was already struggling to make ends meet and have to pick n choose which bills to pay, and between food or diapers.. Its literally a lose lose situation n I have NOO idea what I need to do to get the right help I need. I no longer have insurance on my car, as I cant afford that and gas. I dont ever expect things handed to me, and I work hard for everything I have, but now I have nothing... Ive literally sold everything I can think of to just try and make ends meet. My pride is my biggest downfall in life, but this is surely rock bottom. 211 my best option? And how does the food pantry work? Its just me and my son, we dont eat a lot but I literally have nothing. N $20 in my bank for another week, and my car is long past an oil change. I cant even grasp my mind around it. I thought it was hard before getting everything cut, but now I have to pay for everything out of pocket. The little money I was getting helped tremendously as I shopped on an extreme budget..
