The team are now out on outreach, carrying hot food, hot drinks, chocolate, crisps, toiletries, sleeping bags and blankets :) Its going to be a hard night, its freezing cold and its raining. Let us know if you wish to volunteer for outreach. Its from 8 pm until we see the last homeless person. We walk the streets handing out the above listed, we sit and chat with the rough sleepers we see if they want us to, we offer them advice and advise them on where to go and get help. We are just a group of friendly volunteers, were not trying to replace the agencies or be an agency, we can only advise, and if the rough sleeper takes us up on our advise, thats their choice :) Sometimes they dont wish to for their own reasons. As always we are accepting the following items for outreach, Sleeping bags, Blankets, Trainers, Crisps, Chocolate, Bottled water, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, long life milk, Anti Bacterial gel, wet wipes, deodorant, ladies sanitary products.
