The thing I loved most about the yes campaign is that they didnt lead you into a false sense of security (contrary to popular belief) It wasnt we will change this, we will change that but instead the acknowledgment of our potential. That we CAN change things. We have the ability to progress with the opportunity to do things that we deserve morally. I do believe that those who voted no were scared. Fear of the unknown can be overwhelming I understand or the fear of an independent Scotland severing the ties they have with loved ones down south, which I think is ridiculous but let us not. From my perspective Scotland has been programmed to believe that it isnt worth more, that we arent worth more, that we depend on other nations to hold is up cause were too drunk to stand alone. The worst part for me, Scotland believes that the status quo is a dignified way to live. Two months on and my hearts still broken. Im still consumed by the possibilities and things that could be achieved. For this, and for the future of our children, Ill never give up. Now, tequila me please.
