The things Im reading about this Linda Ikejis blog takedown saga is just crazy. I cant believe we cant see that she stole peoples work, never acknowledged them and never apologized when confronted, and when these people took the case seriously, she wrote a whole blog post to add insult to injury. And people are saying its because they were jealous of her success and car. For real? I see range rover sports like pure water here. Heck I cant even count how many I saw today. Why would anyone take down a blog because of a car? How about other rich bloggers? Why isnt anyone taking them down? Sisiyemmie won 15mil. Why wasnt she taken down? Because of integrity. She has faced her own share of the same issue but she apologized and acted rightly. On my side, I have unknowingly put up El Nathan Johns post on my blog thinking a friend wrote it cos I saw it on his blog. He confronted me, wasnt so nice about it but I apologized like he was flogging my ass with koboko and took the post down shaperly! No long talk. Please lets just be truthful to ourselves. Linda screwed up, didnt protect her business, stepped on toes in and out of Naija and put up a snooty attitude about it. People telling her shes on the right track are not helping her. However, to laugh at her now that she is going through this mess is silly. She will rise up. Shes not the first entrepreneur to fall. But it is how she rises that matters, though. I do hope all the copy and paste bloggers take note. As for me, if anyone steals my work, Ill go after the person like a mad dog, no questions asked. At least now I know that there is justice for people like us who put our heads down and write original content.
