The truth is, that one night, last summer, when we were drinking, and that obnoxiously intoxicated friend of yours was in the back seat, and I kept blasting this song on repeat... there was... a reason. The dashboard melted... but we still have the radio = Were attracted, but youll never change; its already broken. Well you told me about nowhere... well it sounds like some place Id like to go... = I know were going nowhere... youve already showed me. Well, the windshield was broken... but I love the fresh air you know? = We couldnt see where we were headed... but I just wanted to go along for the ride, get some fresh air Well, the car was on blocks... but I was already where I want = We werent going anywhere anytime soon... I just wanted to be somewhere, generally I was patiently erasing and recording the wrong episodes = I kept forgiving, hoping to tape over the bad events with good ones, but good episodes never came; the show kept getting worse Nothing I do is everrrr arbitrary... thats why I told you to just listen to the lyrics already Plus the lyrics kinda matched the fact that when we lived in that RV and you started that electrical fire under the dashboard... the radio was okay... just... everything else was... not Guess not much ever really changed huh?
