The water meter guys just came into our yard to read the meter, and thankfully I noticed him. I ran to the backyard and saw that the gate was WIDE OPEN AGAIN! Me: You cant leave the gate open, guys. We have a dog. Hell get out that way. Meter Man: Aw, no. Hes alright, he wont get out. I am just training this new guy and he was scared of the dog. Me: Well, he did get out the last time, and we couldnt find him for a day. Im calling the water department to schedule not only to have my meter moved (I have no idea why its in our yard in the first place), but also to address the gate thing. Just a PSA to all of you out there with dogs.
