The weirdest thing on this flight which first flew to Copenhagen, Denmark was that as we were crossing the Northern part of US and Canada. I had been wanting to read but they put out the lights in the cabin and most passengers were sleeping. After a little while I looked out the window and it was bright daylight. I was looking at my watch, midnight in Los Angeles... 3:00 AM in New York... why is it light? Thought I was going crazy. Finally I asked someone who was still awake what time he had. He had the same as me. What happened is we were passing an arctic circle zone where everyday in the summer is 24 hours light with no night and in the winder it is 24 hours dark all day. wow.
