The whole world places great value on precious metals and stones. People will go to extraordinary lengths to possess them. You are infinitely more valuable than gold, or silver, or diamonds, or rubies, or emeralds, or any other precious metal or stone. Abba purchased us with the life of His only begotten Son! YOU ARE VALUABLE!!! He places your value at such a high level He has chosen you to participate with Him in building the Temple of the Lord! He Himself will inhabit this glorious Temple, and He not only has chosen you to be involved in helping to build this Temple, He has actually determined to make you a living stone in the Temple itself... Wow!!! My wife dropped a piece of jewelry on the floor, and it bounced into an air-conditioning vent. We almost had to take the floor up to retrieve the “...lost...” piece of jewelry. If we will go to such lengths to find and retrieve something we deem as valuable, then how much more will our God do to find and retrieve us if we should happen to become lost.
