The wonders of praises..read psalms147:1-20...memory versefor it is good to sing praises to our GODpsalms 147:1....have u come to d realization dat what prayers and fasting can do for u,praises can also?i remember in d book of 2chronicles20:21-24,when d people of isreal were ambushed by amorites,they were so helpless dat jehoshaphat inquired of d lord on what to do.and GOD instructed him to go to war with dem,with d choirs matching first with songs,followed by d women,and d bible recorded dat when d people of amorites heard d sound of thier voices,they began to fight themselves.. Paul and silas also sang in their prison room and d holy ghost came down and rescued them.when u praise and worship GOD,he comes down himself to take his praise.but when u pray,he sends an angel to deliver u.dat is d power of praise....in todays scriture,we can hear an assuring word from d palmist himself who tasted GOD and proved him to be good(psalms34:8)telling us in verse13-18 what GOD can do if we praise him.david who is talking out of experience says in verse1 of todays scriture dat praise is good.praise heals d broken-hearted,gives courage and fills one with joy unspeakable...child of GOD,have u ever tried praising GOD when u are downcast and hopeless?have u ever tried to sing when u are bereaved and everything seemed blank?it is den and only then will GOD know dat u actually acknowledge him as d only solution to d situation and den he appears to give u a soothing balm of comfort(2chronicle12:9)..there was d testimony from my sister,who lost her husband,and people were coming to console her,but she could not be consoled because she felt it was d end of d whole world for her.she remain in dat state until one evening she began to sing a song which says,lord,u are good to me in all circumstancesq.she sang it for a long time dat she slept while singing d song.she dreamt where a man was pulling her out of a deep ditch and clothing her with fine clothes.ever since den,she has never had sorrow again and d lord has been helping her in all things.Hallleluya!...i urge u to form d habit of praising GOD even in dat wilderness or prison-yard u have found urself in..d testimony of dis sister shall be urs.d lord will turn ur mourning to dancing in JESUS NAME(jeremiah 31:13).sing dis song as u begin to praise now:am gonna praise d lord.d devil cannot stop me.in d wilderness,in d prisonyard,am gonna praise d lord.for his faithfulness.hallluya,am gonna praise d lord...amen..
