The year was 1980 and two 13 year old boys were at old Meyers Lake Park in Stark County Ohio. They were collecting beer cans and noticed a small but spooky cabin close to where they were . They saw a path of trees that led to a courtyard with shrubs and marble statues. In the distance, the boys saw a large white manor house. They assumed it was the remains of the Meyers Lake Mansion that had burned down years before. As they approached the building, they saw smoke rising from the chimney. A frail looking old woman, dressed in a white nightgown appeared in the window. The boys were spooked and ran away very fast. Something didnt feel right about the house to them. It took them a few hours to find the same path back to where they were earlier and the path was overgrown. They found a matchbook advertising the Meyers Lake Resort Hotel where they had been standing earlier. The only thing missing was the mansion........ Did they travel to the past that day or was it a ghost mansion???? They went back many times to the same spot and never saw the house again.~Ghostwriter~
