There are 1-2 shootings per night in Chattanooga. I have had 12,000.00 worth of equipment stolen in 4 months, in which they do not want to send an officer out for when filing the report, unless you request one. Which believe me, I understand they are understaffed and pulled in a thousand directions. However, I put a skydancer, up to draw attention to my business, and that I know has sold 3 mowers for us, and the codes enforcer comes out and tells me I have to take it down or I will be fined! Needless to say, I am a very confused, and an upset individual today. The codes officer told me he knew how hard it was to run a business in this day, even though, he has never owned one. mind boggling...Are we that out of touch, that small businesses drive this city, that we would take MORE money out of their pocket over a nylon, silk sock blowing in the wind?
