There are 3.2 million undocumented illegal immigrants in the state of California. As we approach Thanksgiving day Id like to take a moment to actually speak out, which I rarely ever do, regarding immigration reform. I am the child of nationalized illegal immigrant parents. And there hasnt been a day, not one, where my mother nor my father has ever stood in line expecting or assuming any right, to any hand out. Like many immigrants that migrated here, they came to work and earn their keep. Amongst us are men and women who live day in and day out harvesting vegetables and fruits as well as overseeing farms for low wages, not just for the Californians to consume but the entire nation! I have always been an undeclared Republican at heart because I believe in the American Dream of no glass ceilings and the sky truly being the limit! As long as you dream big and work hard while Awake! And theres not much that President Obama has done to impress me but when it comes to this reform, the opportunity to allow people who have worked countless years, providing food for us, and childcare for so many American children, and janitorial/room services, and countless other jobs that many Americans would never consider doing in their life..well I say Bravo! And when you all sit with your families, and enjoy this years harvest, I pray youll thank God for his many humble workers. Lets face the truth. We are all immigrants. And for those of you who yell, the laws the law..lets see how you feel about the men and women, children of immigrants who bleed red white and blue. Who fight shoulder to shoulder with their brothers and sisters in arms, and would gladly give their lives for this beautiful Country. I love my Paisanos, I love my country. May America reign great and prosper for many years to come, as I know she accepts those who come to her with God in mind and labor for Country at heart..God Bless!
