There are some who are still waiting for signs that prove the return of our Lord. Even if they see them they will not believe. Like many who heard the teachings of Christ and walked away, they will see, hear, and walk away. Their eyes could behold His magnificence and their ears could hear the Good News, but it wouldnt be enough to transform them into vessels fit for the Master. Their eyes are still blind and their hearts are hardened to the truth. How can we say we truly believe if we have to see signs before our faith is firmly rooted? Blessed are those who havent seen but believe. Blessed and ready are those who are always in anticipation for the return of our Lord. Blessed are those whose fruit prove they are indeed branches connected to the Vine. Blessed are those who are true sheep who hear His voice. Its my prayer that He will find us developing fruit as only a connected branch would, keeping our lamps filled with oil, following His voice, and recklessly abandoning the search for constant proof because we have the conviction and confirmation of His Holy Spirit. A thief comes quickly, but those who are prepared are neither worried or afraid. They wait in joyful expectation, and they teach this to their children daily. Now that you know Hes not dead, are you persuaded that He will return? What condition will He find your soul? Eternity is a long time. Stay ready. Keep your lamps full.
