There are some years at the Ranch Club where the water table is a very big concern; even something we fear if our ground water gets low enough as too little irrigation can (and has) wreaked havoc on the condition of the golf course. Just for the record, we are not worried about that this year. So the water boarding is over for now and the sun is do out this weekend. The course drains excellent and it will be very, very playable so there is nothing to debate if you like the game because the golf forecast is calling for a good time! And if you are hungry our below specials are worth a look at: If you like surfing through the turf ( you know, steak and seafood ) we have a small sirloin steak with skewered lemon pepper shrimp that you can dip in butter. Or still in the seafood department we have a sole dish that has the fillets dusted in seasoned flour then sautéed and finished in a light lemon and brown butter wine sauce. And lastly you can find a very good tender chicken breast sautéed in butter, shallots, white wine and avocado. Or there is always our prime rib, other steaks, burgers and pizzas plus much more to chose from.
