There is a false grace, comfortable grace, it tells christians that their past, present and future sins are forgiven even if they dont repent, Once Saved Always Saved Doctrine, commonly known as Eternal Security, If this were true, then there will not be any christian in hell fire today, The scriptures will not warn the church about its conduct after being saved. When a christian sins, he must repent, confess his sin on moment notice and obtain forgiveness, then practice a life of righteousness. Rapture is very soon. There is a false holiness too, legalism, tradition of men, list of unnecesary dos and donts, It tells christians that using make up, jewerly , pants , perfume, cosmetics is a sin, almost everything is a sin, according to them christians are not suppose to be happy, or live well in the LORD, common teachings in west africa that put many christians in bondage instead of a joyous father-son relationship with God. What they call holiness is simply legalism and ignorance. Many of those who teach such things have become judgmental, backbiters, gossipers, full of malice, criticism, militant and full of hate etc THE GOSPEL SHOULD BE BALANCED, WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE, NOT THROUGH WORKS, AT THE SAME TIME WE ARE SAVED TO DO GOOD WORKS!!, OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS JOYOUS RELATIONSHIP, HE IS OUR FATHER, WE MUST LIVE TO PLEASE HIM, NUMBER ONE REASON WE WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN IS BECAUSE WE WANT TO BE WITH OUR LORD JESUS, WE SERVE HIM IN HOLINESS NOT LEGALISM. WE DID NOT RECEIVE THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, BUT OF ADOPTION HENCE WE CRY ABBA, FATHER, (ROMANS CHAPTER 8)BE BLESSED.
