There is a guy who occasionally haunts my threads and is expert at steering the conversation into directions that obscure the original point, and serve his own agenda. Ill block him soon, but I hate when comments disappear from a discussion, and make the cogent responses seem disembodied. My friend Debbie Ethridge jokingly said that I could wish him into the cornfield - referencing the classic Twilight Zone episode where a little kid holds everybody hostage to his whims. I looked for it on YouTube, and found this clip. Its a bit sloppy in its editing, but chilling. And it occurs to me how much the little freaks totalitarianism - and the fearful obsequiousness on the part of his family resembles the whole PC prison that the left has tried to wall us into.
