There is a story about a gold miner who stopped digging 3 feet - TopicsExpress

There is a story about a gold miner who stopped digging 3 feet from the largest vein of the most valuable gold every found in California. He failed to realize the deposit he was collecting had shifted due to a fault line. Frustrated, he gave up, sold off the mine, and returned back east a poor man. The new purchaser of the mine surveyed the land and hired a geologist who directed him toward this grand deposit making him one of the riches miners ever. The story is called 3 feet from gold. Often people give up on there dreams, goals, and desires when they just moments away from having what they want. We give in to those hard times in our relationships, surrendering when we need to push through. I myself have struggled to lose those last few pounds to meet my desired weight and ended up gaining back 4 or 5 pounds because of frustration. It is in these times we need to survey our condition, gather a team around us, and push forward to be successful. I often teach my clients champions are not made in the ring or on the field, they are made in practice, in the gym, and in the moments when no one is watching. Are you 3 feet from gold? Are you moments away, pounds away, from that goal, dream or desire? I encourage you, step back, reassess, and breakthrough! Being successful, being a champion of your own life is a choice. Choose to win!-JAB
